She was a lifetime member of Indian River Baptist Church where she had many devoted and caring friends who sustained her through the last few years. She retired as a Magistrate with the City of Chesapeake. She was preceded in death by her father Earl F. McDaniel, Jr.
Left to cherish her memories are her adoring mother, Dorothy B. McDaniel, a brother “Mr. Earl” F. McDaniel, III and wife JoAnn, and a sister D. Lynne McDaniel. Abigail Rose is the canine “baby” she adored. She also leaves behind a loving aunt Dennie Markham and three beautiful nieces, Elizabeth McDaniel, Rebecca Robertson and Kathryn McDaniel. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
A celebration of Kerry’s life will be held on Saturday, September 24, 2011, 2:00 p.m. at Rosewood Kellum Funeral Home with a reception to follow. Interment will be private.
