It has been two years today that God called you home, to a place where you would be free of the pain that caused you so much suffering.  You are greatly missed by me and countless others.  I am looking forward to the day when we will see one another again.

Lori, it's been a year today since you left. I miss you so much, I can't even tell you, but I guess you know. So many things I wish I had said, but I guess the most important being I love you, and I did say that.  Miss you every single day and think about you.  I know I will see you again.  Till then, love always, Sis.

John and Matt...I grew up with Lori, went all through school with her, she was in my wedding, as well as being my son's Godmother. We spent many good times together and shared some sad times too. Lori was like a sister to me and will always live in my heart and prayers. Here is a short poem:

I’d like the memory of me to be a happy one,
I’d like to leave an afterglow of smiles when life is done.
I’d like to leave an echo whispering softly down the ways,
     Of happy times and laughing times and bright and sunny days.
I’d like the tears of those who grieve to dry before the sun,
Of happy memories that I leave when life is done.

I just pray that the love of friends and family will carry you through your grief. Lori will be greatly missed.

John and Matt--I grew up with Lori.  We went to school together, from age 5 through age 18.  Lori was in my sister Diane's wedding.  We had so much fun growing up together.  She could always make me laugh with her unique way. I will miss her so very much.  She loved you and Matt very much.  I loved Lori more than words can say.  With her being gone, it will leave a huge hole in my heart.  Lori was like a sister to me. I will see her in heaven.  Until then, I will think of her every second, every minute, and every hour of the day.

john and matt---those photographs of lori brought auch joy to me!  as you know so well, lori was a special part of my life for thirteen years.  i have so many wonderful and fun memories of her. i will always remember how she made some of our students belly laugh when she started clucking like a chicken right in the middle of an activity!  and what a gift she had with accents and impersonations -- one impersonation in particular!!    i miss her and will continue to miss her every single day. i am so fortunate to have had her as my friend. i wish you well.

Dear John and Matt.  It is with great sadness that I learned of Lori's passing.  She and I grew up together in Pittstown (I lived on the farm across the street).  I spent many days with her sharing fun times, camping, and acting out plays.  We drew apart, but then kept in touch via cards, emails, and now facebook.  Even though I had not seen her for many years, I felt we were still close and had laughs over our childhood years. She always shared how much she loved you both and her students.  Know that my thoughts and prayers are with you and her family at this difficult time. I will always keep her in my heart.

Lori - We only reconnected on Facebook for a short while, but I am glad that we had the chance to talk about old times and our families.  Thank you for being my friend as we were growing up in Pittstown, NJ.  Love to you in Heaven and prayers to your family.  I dedicate Michael Jackson's song "Gone To Soon" to you!

I worked with Lori at Bayside Elementary School. I helped in the classroom for almost 6 months. The time that I was there was the best time I have ever had. After working with her, that was then I decided that I wanted to go back to school and become a teacher. Lori was an amazing person and we had some really good times working together. She was amazing with the children and she was an inspiration to me. She will be very missed. My prayers will be with the family and friends of Lori.

To The Parks Family
My prayers are with you today. I just heard of Lori's passing today. I took a sign language class with her at TCC. We had a big class at first, but then it went down to just a few. And Lori was part of the few. We became a family. A beautiful smile and a soft voice. I remember it like it was yesterday. She was always so positive when it came to the tests, papers whatever we were doing in class. We always had a good time when we had our meetings out side of class at the different mall food courts. I thank God for putting me in her path. What a blessing and a honor.

Dear John and Matt,
  I know that this is a very difficult time for you. Just know that Lori was loved so much by everyone. She touched so many lives with her love, guidance and her smile. She loved you both so very much. I have known Lori for 40 years and have so many wonderful memories of all our good times together. Just know that she will live in so many people's hearts forever. God now has a very special angel in heaven.

Always know that you are in our thoughts and prayers. Please know that we will miss Lori and her bright smile. She was a very special woman and will always be remembered by those whose lives she touched.

John and Matt - Please know that I am with you in spirit today, even though I couldn't be there in person.  I can only imagine how hard this is for you.  Matt, you are the light of your mom's life, and if she could have stayed with you forever, she would have; but we know that she is at peace now, no more pain or suffering. Lori taught our son Nevin at Bayside. She loved kids and you could tell by her wonderful smile and cheerful disposition how much they meant to her. I can't even begin to imagine the loss you feel, can only say that we will always remember her for the wonderful person she was and the wonderful memories she's left in many a person's life. She's in peace knowing that the love and passion of her life have made a difference

Lori is in my thoughts and prayers every single day. She will always be remembered in my heart. She was more than my Aunt. She was my best friend as well. I'll always remember the way she made me laugh when I was sad  and I her. Our common interest in watching GW on tv every Friday night and our 2 hour telephone conversations I will always cherish. Our conversations on most occasions were about her son Matthew. He was her pride and joy and was VERY proud of him. Her family is what she loved the most! her husband and son and the rest. Lori was very committed to her job as a teacher assistant at Bayside Elementary. She loved working at Bayside and she worked hard to meet the diverse needs of her students. She was loved and admired by her collegues and administration. Her sweet and calming presence will be greatly missed.

My heart is sad because Lori is gone, but my fond memories made during the time I knew her will never be forgotten.  And just think, it all began with that first Tigers meeting (BSA) when we all met and soon after became friends.

Lori and I grew up in the same small town in New Jersey, attending the same schools from Kindergarten through High School.  She was a brilliant girl with a sweet, quiet nature and one who loved family, friends and the children she worked with more than anything. I will miss her tremendously.
