Mabel J. Foshee, 102, went home to be with the Lord on August 11, 2016. She was the daughter of the late Johnny and Alice Johnson of Smithfield, NC. She is predeceased by her husband, Lewis E. Foshee, Sr. and their beloved daughter, Peggy Alice Dixon.
Mabel was loved and admired by her many friends and family. Left to cherish her memory are her son, Lewis E. Foshee, Jr. and his wife, Nancy; son-in-law, Emery W. Dixon; granddaughters, Victoria Morris and husband, Joe, Donna Stutzman and husband, Wayne, Regina Hemperely, and Amy Mullens and husband, Johnny; great-grandchildren, Emily Morris Cervantes, April Klinger and husband Kasea, Jay Stutzman and wife, Courtney, Cade and Garrett Mullens; and several great-great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, August 16, 2016 at Rosewood Kellum Funeral Home with burial to follow at Rosewood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 pm on Monday at the funeral home. Condolences may be sent to www.kellumfuneralhome.com.
