Marvin Jay Wilson, Jr. passed away on April 4, 2019. He was born in National City, CA on June 29, 1945. Jay proudly served his country in the US Navy as a Seabee, he was a Vietnam Veteran.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Marvin Jay Wilson Sr. and Hazel Wilson; brother, Douglas Wilson; and sister, Linda Hiteshew.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 30 years, Katherine Wilson; sister, Fay Stout; brother, Leslie

Wilson (Sherry); brother-in-law, Warren Hiteshew; sister-in-law, Anna Lawerence; nieces and nephews, Audra Holsinger (David), Amber Hampton (Bryan), and Shelby Wilson (Diana); and great-nephews, Tyler Holsinger, Austin Hampton, Jacob Wilson, Parker Hampton, and Aiden Hampton.

A memorial service will be held at 9:00 a.m., Sunday, April 14, 2019 at Rosewood Kellum Funeral Home.

Jay will be greatly missed by his cats, Buster Crab and Pistol Pete.

He will be remembered as "The Living Legend."
