Going to miss you all the thanksgiving dinner and u being there for Crystals 2 daughters births and going over there to Surprise you with your kids and I enjoyed cutting your grass and u will be mist and loved

I am Eric's (Grandson) mom .  I have known Mary for 43 years.  She welcomed me with open arms into the family. Each time I would visit her she always gave me a hug and had that gorgeous smile. This is a story she always liked to tell with joyous laughter. When Eric was about 2 years old he was just beginning to walk.  He had on his new stride right walking shoes. We didn't live far from them and Eric and I walked to her house. I told Mary that it took us a long time to get there and Eric was having trouble walking. She looked at me with a huge smile and said, "Susan if you would put his shoes on the right feet he might have walked better"  I can't tell you how much I love Mary and she lives in my heart forever.

Been nearly 50 years ago, but some things you never forget. 
It didn't matter if Donnie and I were at my house, or the Norvell's, come Dinnertime, Donnie and I would go to the table ... and eat EVERYTHING! No leftovers. Then jump in his Super Bee and go to the other's house ... and eat EVERYTHING! No leftovers. 
Is it possible to fill up a teenaged boy? I don't know, but our Mothers tried. I ate many a meal at Mrs. Norvell's table. She was what I call "good people".

Grandma you are truly going to be miss by so many and I am going to miss you more then you will ever know. I am so blessed with so many memory’s of us from the time I was a baby until now. Cherish every min I had with you. Cherish those times I would tell you I love you so so much and u would smile and look at me and say I love you so so much. I was blessed with amazing grandma love and will hold you always close to my heart always. Rip grandma me and Stephen and your girls love you so much 

I always think back to the memory of having good conversations over good food. She was a great cook and awesome lady. She will be missed. Keep ya'll in my prayers. 

Sorry to hear of Mary's passing. We will remember her fondly.  Love and prayers for all of you.
