He was born on December 18, 1968 to John G. "Jack" and JoAnn McMurray in Akron, Ohio.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife Christina; two sons Daniel McMurray and Jonathan McMurray, a daughter Emily McMurray; a brother John G. McMurray, Jr., and a sister Charlene Hewitt.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2015, 2:00 p.m. at Grace Bible Church, 2956 Ansol Lane, Virginia Beach, Virginia, 23452. To honor Michael's life the family is asking that if you have any Cleveland sports team shirts, please wear them. Cleveland Indians, Cleveland Browns, or Cleveland Cavaliers, or wear any Dallas shirts as that was Michael's second team because we all know he rarely had anything to cheer about with Cleveland. If you do not have any of those fill free to wear your own home team sport shirt.
