Patricia Vallejos Delacruz

Patricia V. Delacruz, 63, former Arizona resident, died January 14, 2012 in Virginia Beach, VA. Patricia was born March 17, 1948, in Tarlac, Philippines to Canuto and Luisa Vallejos. She worked in the Office of Civil Defense for 24 years in the Philippines. She studied in Tarlac and Pangasinan where she met and married her husband Manuel I. Delacruz.

They moved to USA in October 1997 by virtue of her eldest son’s petition who is serving in the United States Navy. They worked briefly for 7 months at Foxwood Resort and Casino then moved to Chicago, IL where they worked together again for 10 years at Mellon Bank Financial Services. Finally, they settled in Arizona where Patricia worked as a sales associate and cashier.

Patricia is survived by her husband of 43 years, Manuel; son, Noel married to former Annabel Jaring and three children, Chelsea, Caitlin and Christian; sons, Jim and Tharold; and daughter Tricie May married to Edilberto Abidog and three children, Maedeline, Edercen and Mattheo; numerous relatives; legions of friends and brethren; and plenty of surrogate/adopted children, whose lives she had touched in some small way or another.

Visitation will be held on January 17 & 18, 2012 from 6-8pm at Rosewood Kellum Funeral Home, 601 N. Witchduck Rd., Virginia Beach VA 234642.
