Patrick Marvin Post
16 août 1962 – 13 février 2021
Patrick Marvin Post, 58, passed away on Saturday, February 13, 2021. Pat recently retired as a Facility Maintenance Technician for HRSD. He was a loyal employee of HRSD for 30+ years. Outside of work he enjoyed working in the yard, hunting and his biggest love of all his daughter and son. He was always there when anyone needed help, he literally would give the shirt of his back if that's all he had to give. He was known for his love for classic country music, which his daughter called him the "Honky Tonk Man". Over the years he earned the title "Most Hard Headed and Stubborn Man Ever" because no matter what the doctor's said not to do, he had to prove them wrong, as a close friend said "he did it his way". He was strong to the very end and is no longer in pain.
Pat was preceded in death by his parents, Earl R. and Onolee R. Post and uncle, Dennis Hoosier.
He is survived by his daughter, Kaitlyn Post; son, Bradley Kuzmanko and Michelle Martin of Virginia Beach, VA; sister, Stephanie Wall and her husband Donald of Fort Mill, SC; brother, Sidney Post and his wife Barbara of Myrtle Creek, OR; uncles, Brian Hoosier of Virginia Beach, VA; Marvin Hoosier and his wife Rosie of Kingsville, TX; Aunts, Saglinda Hetman of Whitehall, PA and Mary Alice Hoosier of Bethlehem, PA; nephew, Benjamin Wall; nieces, Wendy Wall, Amanda Post, Madeleine and Veronica Brodsky.
Matthew 11:28-30 "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light''.
