Peggy M. Bartlett

Peggy Marie Stonestreet Bartlett, 88, passed away on June 8, 2014 peacefully in her home after a courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by her son and daughter-in-law who provided constant care and love in her time of need. Mrs. Bartlett was born October 14, 1925 in Kansas City, Missouri. Her family and friends will always remember her as a devoted woman of faith, a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Her loyal husband of 61 years, Dan; her sister, Helen; and her son, Bruce preceded Peggy in death.

Left to cherish her memory is a son, Terry Bartlett and his wife, Pennie of Norfolk; a daughter, Diana Underhill of Virginia Beach; a sister, Vivian Walther of San Diego; nine grandchildren, Patrick and Rebecca Bartlett, Michael and Matthew Underhill, Christina Vacca, Mitchell, Scott and Jessica Powell, and Missy Cannon; twelve great-grandchildren, Brittany and Kaitlyn Cannon, William, Kristopher, Isabelle, Alexandra and Coralyn Powell, Deja and Carter Hermogenes, Jacob Bartlett, Joseph and Anna Vacca.
