Rachel was born in Moyock, North Carolina and was preceded in death by her father Horace Edward Cooper and her first husband John Charalambous and her late husband David Karras.
Rachel was a fun loving energetic spirit and would spread joy to everyone she was around with her infectious smile. She loved her family, friends and animals and was a selfless and fun person that could always find happiness in the simple things of life. She retired from A & G Automotive after sixteen years of service. She was a hard worker with a meticulous attention to detail. She was a loving mother, daughter, sibling and friend who will be dearly missed.
Survivors include her mother Florene Rose, her children, Anastasia Charalambous and Eftychios "E.J." Charalambous and her siblings Teresa Alvarado, Edward Cooper and Austin Cooper, and her fur baby Gielby.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, March 20, 2:00 p.m. at Rosewood-Kellum Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Virginia Beach S.P.C.A.
