Mr. Bremner was born on January 31, 1937 in Ashland, Virginia to the late Walter Alexander Bremner and Evelyn Furman Chichester Bremner. He was also preceded in death by his three brothers Walter A. Bremner, Jr., Donald G. Bremner and Douglas C. Bremner; two brothers-in-law Bill Abernathy and Craig Cobb.
Mr. Bremner was a long time member and Elder at Rock Church. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corp and served as a sales representative for Hydraulic Service Company.
Survivors include his loving wife Joan Bremner, four sisters Sandra Bremner Abernathy, Jean Bremner Southall, (Rae) Esther Bremner Gilman (Tom) and Margaret Bremner Cobb; four brothers Ernest B. Bremner (Merilyn), David B. Bremner (Ann), Kenneth E. Bremner (Sheree), Daniel C. Bremner (Sara); and his sister-in-law Gail Bremner.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 8, 2022, 10:00 a.m. at Rosewood-Kellum Funeral Home by Pastor Mary Strickland. Graveside services will be private.
A Celebration of Life will be held at The Rock Church in Virginia Beach at a future date.
