Mr. Chrisman was born in Harrisburg, PA. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harry E. Chrisman and Anastasia Lawlor Chrisman, two sons, Charles Randolph Chrisman and Patrick Henry Chrisman, two sisters, Mary Alice Chrisman Mauk, Nancy A. Chrisman Koring and three brothers, Harry E. Chrisman, Jr., William J. “Bill” Chrisman and John C. “Jack” Chrisman.
Mr. Chrisman retired from the U.S. Army as a Sergeant First Class after thirty years of service, including the Korean Conflict and two tours of Viet Nam. He enjoyed gardening, playing pool and bowling.
Survivors include four daughters, Wanda M. Criner, Leslie J. Markum, Stacy D. Swartz, and Kimberly C. Emig, four sisters, Susan E. Chrisman Wilkes, Kathleen Gail Chrisman Hriczik, Bridget E. Chrisman Baker, Joan Marie Chrisman Scifo and two brothers, Franklin D. Chrisman and Patrick Lawlor Chrisman and fifteen grandchildren.
A celebration of Mr. Chrisman’s life will be held on Wednesday, April 18, 2012, 2:00 p.m. at Rosewood Kellum Funeral Home. A reception will follow in the funeral home.
