Sallie Louise Davis, 85, passed away on March 29, 2014 surrounded by her family. She was born on June 16, 1928 to the late Mamie and Willie Bonney in Princess Anne County, Virginia. Her husband Lester M. Davis, daughter Vickie Ambrose and granddaughter Kimberly Hughes precede her in death. Sallie will always be remembered as a caring, thoughtful, loving person to all who knew her.
She is survived by her daughters, Joan Cottrell and Sandra Townsend; her grandsons Walter Townsend and his wife Mandy, and Jeff Cottrell and his wife Erica; and 4 great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 6-8pm on Wednesday, April 2, 2014 at Rosewood-Kellum Funeral Home, 601 N. Witchduck Rd., Virginia Beach, VA 23462.
