She was the beloved wife of the late Gilbert N. Stecker and is survived by three children, Pamela S. Fish and husband Dr. James Fish, Candace S. Hubbard and husband Dr. Wilkins Hubbard and Tracy S. Martin and husband Jeffrey Martin, Esquire; three grandchildren, Cory O. Hippler, Courtney S. Starr and Jadyn S. Martin and five great grandchildren, Mason & Quincy Hippler and Taylor, William and Benjamin Starr.
"Muzzy" loved life and serving people. Through her gifts of hospitality and giving, she opened her home to widows, singles and whoever was in need of a good home cooked meal, love and fun!
She brought joy to everyone through a display of her life verse, "Be joyful always!" and with humor, "Are we having fun yet?"
A Memorial service will be held at First Baptist Church of Norfolk on Saturday Feb. 4, at 11 a.m. with a reception to follow.
