Stephen Douglas Wright, 62, passed away suddenly at his home in Virginia Beach. Steve was born in Middlesex in Suffolk, England. He was a Vietnam Veteran in the Air Force where he was an Electronics Mechanic. He later retired as a Computer Network Engineer from Northrop Grumman. Full of life and vitality he loved shooting guns, working on his 1977 Corvette, his dog Coco and most of all spending time with his family and especially his beloved wife, Laura at their beach house he called, “The Hooch”. Survivors are his wife, Laura; father, Howard Wright and his wife, Arlene Wright; sons, Justin and Jason; daughter, Mandy; brothers, Robert and Douglas; niece, Melissa and many friends.
A visitation will be from 5-7pm, Saturday at Rosewood Kellum Funeral Home. A funeral service will be conducted at 1pm, Sunday at the funeral home where US Air Force honors will be rendered. Online condolences may be offered to the family at www.kellumfuneralhome.com.
