Norfolk- Suzanne Juliette Turner, 80, passed away peacefully and went to be with her Lord on September 19, 2011. She was born on August 4, 1931 to the late Desire M. and Laurence Meigner in France. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Frank L. Turner in 1981. Suzanne believed in the importance of family and friends and lived it each and every day. She loved her family and cherished her friends.
Suzanne is survived by her daughter and two sons, Linda Shepherd, Frank Turner Jr., and Michael Turner; daughter-in-laws, Brenda Turner, Bonnie Turner; and son-in-law, Jimmy Shepherd. She also leaves her five grandchildren, Tanya Meehan, Frank Turner III, Candice Turner, Johnny Turner, Kenny Turner and one great grandchild, Nixon Reeves Meehan.
A Visitation will be held on Thursday September 22, 2011 from 6:00-8:00 PM at Kellum Funeral Home, 601 N. Witchduck Rd., Virginia Beach, VA 23462.
A Celebration of Suzanne’s life will be held on Friday September 23, 2011 at 10:00 AM at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Rosewood Memorial Park.
