Ted W. Langdon, 88, quietly passed away in his Chesapeake, VA home on September 27, 2016. He served in the US Navy and worked for Ensign Electric, Division of Harvey Hubbell, Inc. in Huntington, WV for 32 years. Ted also coached Babe Ruth League baseball for many years.
He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Dolores; his children, Cheri Haight and her husband, Skip, of Shelton, CT and Steve Langdon and his wife, Terry, of Chesapeake, VA; a sister, Marcia Peter and her husband, Bruce; 4 grandchildren, Matthew and Ryan Haight and Tyler and Katlin Langdon; and a great-granddaughter, Holly Haight.
The family will receive friends from 12 noon to 1:30 pm on Friday, September 30, 2016 at Rosewood Kellum Funeral Home. The funeral service will begin at 1:30 pm followed by burial at Rosewood Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Comfort Care Hospice.
