Timothy Alan Smith, 37, passed away on November 12, 2019. He was born in Virginia Beach and attended Oscar Smith High School. He was a Quality Assurance Specialist with Fleet Readiness Center Mid-Atlantic Voyage Repair Team. Tim took great pride in showing respect to all tasks he encountered personally and professionally by becoming a subject matter expert. Whether it was following QA checkpoints at work, restoring classic cars with his Dad, building firearms or being a father to his beloved daughter, he committed himself to adding to his wealth of knowledge every single day. Tim was a Christian man who ardently believed in honoring God, family and country. He was a devoted son, husband, father and friend who always provided his tender heart, listening ear and bear hugs to all he loved. Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife Morgan; daughter Shelby; parents Polly and Joseph Robinson; mother and father in-law, Donna and Wesley Snyder; sisters Norma White and family, Lori Snyder and family; brothers Paul Wand and family, Ryan Snyder, Andrew Snyder and family; along with a host of extended and chosen family. A celebration of life service will be held at 2pm on Saturday, November 16, 2019 at Chalice Christian Church, 5612 Haden Rd, Virginia Beach, VA 23455 with a reception immediately following.
