Violet “Renea” Bowdoin, 63, passed away on January 28, 2024. She was born in Winston-Salem, NC. Renea loved Summer time. She greatly enjoyed going to the beach and working on the ultimate tan. Renea loved her children and grandchildren dearly. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Renea was predeceased by her parents, Willie Ray and Janette Ruth Cole; and her loving husband, Stardard Bowdoin; son, Beau Bowdoin; and brother, Willie “Pete” Ray Cole, Jr.
Left to cherish her memory are her three children, Buddy Bowdoin (Sarah) of Norfolk, Joseph Bowdoin and Angela Bowdoin, both of Virginia Beach; brother, Bobby Key of Norfolk; three sisters, Cindy Dinkler of Virginia Beach, Marilyn Byrd (Larry) of Norfolk, and Robin Mills of Buxton, NC; significant other, Louis Beasley of Chesapeake; and five grandchildren, Aaron Bowdoin, Nikolas Bowdoin, Anastazia Bowdoin, Falynn Bowdoin, and Christopher “C.J.” Baxter.
