Mr. Griswold was preceded in death by his parents Wayne and Marjorie Griswold and his wife Elizabeth Griswold. He retired as an Insurance Agent with United Insurance after thirty-eight years of service. He was a member of Masonic Lodge 44 and was a veteran of the U.S. Army Reserves.
Family meant the world to Don. He loved to have family around him and loved to celebrate birthdays and holidays with them. His favorite was traveling with his wife Liz over the years. He loved to cook breakfast for the family especially when the grandchildren stayed over. Don also loved to hunt and fish. He found so much joy in teaching his grandchildren how to fish and how to shoot and handle guns safely. He also gave the best advice to his children and grandchildren and this advice and many wonderful memories will be cherished forever.
Survivors include two daughters Wendy Hackworth and her husband Charles, Kelly Kelley-Magee and her husband Bobby Magee; two stepchildren, Ralph Sullivan, Jr. and wife Theresa; Kimberly Siddens and her husband Doug; ten grandchildren Joshua Siddens, Chase Hackworth, Cortney Sullivan, Chad Siddens, Alexis Duncan, Tabitha Magee, Tyler Kelley, Caitlin Sullivan, Samantha Magee and Noah Kelley; one great grandson Titus Siddens and his devoted caregiver.
