Wayne Clifford Shifflett, 62, passed away in Norfolk on Thursday, February 25, 2021 in Norfolk. Wayne was born in Washington, D.C. to the late Claude and Janet Shifflett. Throughout the majority of his life, Wayne worked as an auto body technician. He loved working on cars, especially fond of antique cars as well. Most of all, he was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. His grandchildren idolized him. His family said he never met a stranger, most of all selfless in nature. If anybody needed help he was always there to lend a helping hand. He is survived in memory by his wife, Laura Shifflett; children, Corey and his wife, Shannon, Jacob and Drew; siblings, Bo, David and Sheena; three grandchildren and a host of other family members and friends.
