He was a quiet but loving son, brother and friend. Archie loved to live his life doing what he enjoyed. He always worked hard but loved to play even harder. Archie also loved his four legged companions and missed each one dearly.
He was predeceased by his mother, Sue B. Goodell, his father George E. Goodell, Sr., a sister Linda E. Chick, and most recently his favorite Aunt Ann.
He is survived by a sister, Brenda Immel and her husband Stephen of Ferndale, NY, his brothers, George Goodell Jr., and his wife Norma of Aurora, CO, and Brian Goodell and his wife Amanda of Portsmouth, VA. He has several nieces and nephews and great nieces and a great nephew. Archie also leaves behind his many treasured friends, especially “brother" Tim Spoerl.
A wake will be held on Tuesday, May 23, 2017 from 6-8 pm at Rosewood Kellum Funeral Home, 601 N. Witchduck Rd., Virginia Beach VA. A service will be held on Wednesday, May 24, 2017 at 10am at the funeral home. You may offer your condolences at www.kellumfuneralhome.com.
