

David A. Pilibosian, 80, of Capital Ridge in Providence, passed away peacefully on June 1, 2022. He was the beloved husband of the late Janice A. (Curran) Pilibosian for 48 years before her passing in 2017.
Born in Central Falls, David spent his formative years growing up in Smith Hill. He was the son of the late Arthur P. and Aroxie (Markarian) Pilibosian.
David began his working career as an Accountant for the City of Providence, after earning his degree from Johnson & Wales University. He was then a Purchasing Agent at General Dynamics Electric Boat for 35 years before his retirement.
In addition to spending time with his dear family, David was an avid horse racing enthusiast, and was immensely proud of his Armenian Heritage. He would often be found wearing an Armenian lanyard, listening to Armenian music, or eating some baklava. He also loved to travel, having visited many states and been on many cruise ships thru the years!
He is survived by his daughters, Kerry L. Sears and her husband David of Cranston, Erin P. Ricketts and her husband, Lee, of York, PA, his brother, Arthur Pilibosian and his wife Carol, his sister Deborah Pelletier and her husband, Michael, and his sister-in-law, Kathleen E. Hazard. He also leaves his grandchildren, David A. Alden Sears, Gabriella Muraca, Eden Muraca, Owen Ricketts, and Connor Ricketts, his step grandchildren, Brittany Kriner and Alexandria Sears, and his step great grandchildren, Amaiah, Bentley, Liam, Jameson, and Jaxson. He was predeceased by his beloved daughter, Lindy P. Muraca.
A visitation will be held on Friday from 4-7 pm in Russell J. Boyle Funeral Home, located at 142 Centerville Rd, Warwick, RI. Funeral on Saturday at 8:45 am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in Saints Rose & Clement Catholic Church, 111 Long Street, Warwick, RI. Burial in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
