She was the devoted wife of the late Raymond T. Paolino for 60 years. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Brigida (Glittone) Oliva.
Dolores enjoyed a long and successful career as an executive assistant at Allendale Insurance (now FM Global), where she worked for more than 30 years before retiring. Following retirement, she and her husband embraced their love of travel, exploring the world together.
She had a zest for life and delighted in dancing, painting, hosting memorable dinner parties, and spending winters at their home in Naples, FL.
Dolores was the beloved mother of Stephen M. Paolino and his wife Bettina, and Cynthia A. Marotta and her husband John; and the cherished grandmother of Nicholas, Andreas, Vincent, and Jenna. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her siblings Edward Oliva, Raymond Oliva, and Rosalie Fico.
Her visitation and funeral will be held Tuesday, January 6, 2025 from 8:30-9:30 am in the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 142 Centerville Road, Warwick. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am in Sts. Rose & Clement Church, 111 Long Street, Warwick. Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Rhode Island SPCA, 155 Plan Way, Warwick, RI 02886.
