Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Edward and Margaret (McGregor) McCullough. He was the beloved father of Jay Hanner; loving papa of Jessica Andrews and Jason Hanner; cherished great-papa of Aidan and Skylar Andrews. He was the brother of the late John McCullough, Gertrude Lambert and Helen Turner. He also leaves several nieces and nephews.
Teddy was a dedicated state employee for 28 years before retiring from the traffic division for the State of Rhode Island. He had previously worked in construction and was also a factory worker. He also greatly enjoyed landscaping with his friend, Paul Vartian. He remained active throughout his life and often walked 3-4 miles every day. His favorite walk was through Roger Williams Park to meet his friends at Dunkin Donuts on Park Ave.
His visitation will be held Wednesday, March 27th from 4:00-7:00 p.m. followed by his funeral service at 7:00 p.m. in the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 142 Centerville Road, Warwick. Burial will be private.
