

Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late James R. and Beatrice (Rivers) Sadlier.
Jeanne served her community through her work at the Hartford Park Community Center and later worked as a claims examiner for Blue Cross Blue Shield for 15 years.
A woman of deep faith and strength, Jeanne was a longtime communicant of St. Gregory the Great Church and an active member of the Sparrow Point Tenants Association. She was also a proud Gold Star Mother.
Jeanne’s greatest joy was her family, she raised 11 children on her own and remained deeply involved in the lives of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her strength, love, and unwavering devotion to family will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
She is survived by her children Michael Giblin (Dorothy), William Giblin (Susan), Donald Giblin (Christine), Jeanne Gattegno, Geraldine Paolozzi, Sharon Quirk, Margaret Tella (Steven), Kathleen Calabro (Richard), Deborah O’Connor (Charles), and Anne Mongeau (Diane); her sisters Marion Collins (James), Margaret Traverso (Pedro) and Mary Sadlier; Cousin Ann Maher; 20 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law Valerie Giblin; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son Sgt. Timothy Giblin and siblings Robert Sadlier and Ann Rivers.
Visitation will be held Thursday, December 4, 2025, from 4:00–7:00 p.m. and Friday, December 5, 2025, from 8:00–9:00 a.m. at Russell J. Boyle and Son Funeral Home, 142 Centerville Rd, Warwick. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow on Friday at 10:00 a.m. at St. Gregory the Great Church, 360 Cowesett Rd, Warwick. Burial will be in St.Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
