Born in Brooklyn, NY, she was the daughter of the late John T. and Marion P. (Flynn) Fredericks. Marion was the devoted mother of Timothy Card and Tyler Card and his wife Ryan; grandma of Caroline and Adelaide Card; and loving “grandmom” to her beloved grand-dog, Odin. She was the dear sister of Patricia Fredericks, John Fredericks, and Richard Fredericks and his wife Holly, and the proud aunt of several nieces and nephews.
Marion had a joyful, creative spirit. She poured her heart into scrapbooking and was rarely without her camera, capturing moments big and small. Known for her endless chatter and warm presence, she brought light and laughter to everyone around her. She adored watching her son’s livestreams and never missed the chance to pop in and say hello. Marion found comfort in movies and television, Mamma Mia being her forever favorite, enjoyed every time she could. She also savored a good Kahlua Sombrero and embraced every opportunity to enjoy life’s simple pleasures.
Dedicated and hardworking, Marion served proudly as President at the West Shore Health Center, where she was respected and admired for her leadership and compassion.
