Caleb Christopher Van Van Dusen

Caleb Christopher Van Dusen, age 4 of Shelbyville, went to be with his Lord January 15, 2014 while in his daddy's arms, with mommy holding his hand and surrounded by his family at Helen Devos Children's Hospital. Our little sunshine can finally run with the angels. He will be lovingly remembered by his parents, Christopher and Shelly Van Dusen and his brother Micah; grandparents: Nancy Longfellow, Chuck Longfellow, and Earl and Ginger Van Dusen; great-grandmother Arlene Longfellow; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. Caleb will also be missed by his teachers and friends at Hillside Learning and Behavior Center in Allegan, all of his amazing therapists, doctors, and nurses, and our Spring Valley Church family in Allendale. We send our many thanks to everyone who has supported and prayed for us, especially in the past year. A time for relatives and friends to visit with Caleb's family will be held from 3-5:30 PM Thursday, January 23, at Spring Valley Church, 5947 Lake Michigan Dr, Allendale. A memorial service to celebrate his life will follow at 5:30 PM, with dinner following the service. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Caleb can be made to the University of Chicago Toxoplasmosis Research Study.
