David Benedict, age 87, passed away Tuesday, November 25, 2025. He was preceded in death by his wife, Sherry Benedict; son, Tim Benedict; daughter, Faith Benedict. He is survived by his sons James and Burt Benedict; stepdaughter, Wendi Fein; six grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
David was a quiet, but very generous man. He worked for over 30 years at Steelcase. He loved his grandchildren and his many friends.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, December 17, 2025, with visitation beginning at 10 a.m., at Kubiak-Cook Funeral Home, 312 N. Main Street, Wayland, MI 49348. In memory of David and in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Salvation Army or Wounded Warrior Project.
