Herman Snyder

Herman Snyder, age 89 of Wayland, passed away February 2, 2016. He was preceded in death by his wife Elizabeth Snyder, children: Susan Littlefield, his brothers and sisters: Theresa (Charles) Carten, Garret James Snider, George (Katherine) Snider, John (Dawn) Snider, and brother-in-law Ervin Salik and sister-in-law Lee Snider. Herman will be lovingly remembered by his wife Ann Nausieda; his children: Terri (Henry) Lutostanski, Rick (Lynn) Snyder, Jim (Roberta) Snyder, Charles (Nancy) Snyder, and Sandi (Craig) Nicely; his grandchildren and great-grandchildren; his brother: Pete Snider and his sister Katie Salik; and many nieces and nephews. He was born May 6, 1926 to Mr. & Mrs. Joe Snieder. Herman was a World War II Veteran, serving in the Navy for two years, stationed on the USS Piedmont. He retired from General Motors after 33 years. Herman was a member of St. Therese Catholic Church and attended SS Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church. Friends may visit with Herman's family Friday, February 5, 2016, from 10-11 AM at St. Therese Catholic Church, Wayland. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 AM with Father Christian Johnston presiding with military honors. Interment at Winchester Cemetery.
