Jeanette "Jan" D. Hopkins

Jeanette "Jan" D. Hopkins, age 79 of Wayland, passed away January 4, 2016 at Byron Manor Assisted Living. She was preceded in death by her husband Russell and her infant daughter Joanne. Jan will be lovingly remembered by her son Douglas and Nancy Hopkins; her grandchildren: Jeremiah (Cara) Hopkins, Joanna (Nate) Dear, Sarah (Adam) Lynema; Rachel (Steven) Geers, Charity (Dylan) Danz, Isaac Hopkins and Jonathan Hopkins; her nine great-grandchildren; her brother Jim and Rosemary Beldon and her sister Helen Esman; and several nieces and nephews. Jan graduated from Vicksburg High School. She retired after 49 years at American National Bank which later became Fifth-Third Bank. Jan enjoyed knitting and sewing and loved her dogs. Friends may visit with the family on Thursday, January 7, 2016 from 10:30 AM-12:00 PM at Kubiak-Cook Funeral Home, Wayland, where a funeral service will follow at 12:00 PM.
