Phyllis Daisy Smith Landon, age 79, of Lucedale, MS, passed away Wednesday, June 12, 2013, at her home. She was born September 6,1933, in Plainwell, Michigan. Mrs. Landon was retired from General Motors where she worked as industrial sewer. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Landon; father, Andrew Smith, and mother, Daisy Smith. She is survived by two daughters, Diane (Randy) Ritsema and Nancy (James) Feenstra, both of Wayland, MI; three sons, Dennis (Pat) Landon, Lucedale, MS, Tom (Lisa) Landon, Leakesville, MS and James Landon, Montrose, MS; 13 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; a brother, Ed (Debbie) Smith, Grand Rapids, MI; and a sister, Darlene (Karl) Loth, Zeeland, MI. Friends may visit with her family on Tuesday from 6 to 8 PM at the Kubiak-Cook Funeral Services, 312 N. Main St. Wayland. Funeral services will be 11 AM Wednesday, June 19, 2013 at the funeral home.
