Robert W. LeValley, age 62 of Wayland, passed away January 11, 2014. He was preceded in death by his wife Dovie, and his parents, Amos and Ruth LeValley; his brothers Ken and Bill; and his sister Debbie. Robert will be lovingly remembered by his children: Robert LeValley, Mark LeValley, Brian (Karessa) LeValley, Carl (Angel Dow) Shackley, Amanda (Matt) Soergel, Keith (Shannon) LeValley, and Kenneth (Kara Gomez) LeValley; 15 grandchildren; brothers and sisters: Sue, Mike (Max) and Jim (Irene) LeValley. Robert was a U.S. Army veteran who served during the Vietnam Conflict. He was a member of the VFW Wayland Post. Robert was a 30 years member of the Teamsters and was a driver for Yellow/YRC. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 18, 2014, at Kubiak-Cook Funeral Service, Wayland, at 11:00 AM, with Matthew Soergel officiating. Interment will follow at Elmwood Cemetery, with military honors. In honor of Robert, contributions may be made to Wayland VFW Post or the Dorr American Legion.
