Albertina De Jesus Castro

She was born in El Jicaro, Nicaragua on November 21, 1942 to Felipe Torres and Maria Encarnacion Acuna. She was married to Jose Enrique Castro for 44 years. Albertina had a homemaking career and helped raise her grandchildren and great-grandchild in the Castro-Macias family. She was a member of Centro Evangelico Cristiano and had a passion for gardening, singing, her faith in Christ, and enjoying her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband Jose Enrique Castro and her older sister Asuncion. She is survived by her daughters Juana Jaqueline Macias, Zoila Castro, and Xiomara Castro. Her grandchildren : Natasha Castro, Veronica Castro, Karolina Victor, Katia Victor, Alexa Macias Castro, David Victor, Kevin Aguiar, Jose Macias Castro Jr, and Cassandra Lucia Fernandez, as well as great-grandchild: Izaiah Castro, and her son-in-law Jose H. Macias Sr.

Family will receive friends for visitation Tuesday, December 19 from 6:00-9:30pm with a service beginning at 7:30pm at Centro Evangelico Cristiano located at 9426 Telephone Road Houston, Texas 77075. A graveside service will be held Wednesday, December 20 at 12:30pm at Forest Park East Cemetery located at 21620 Gulf Freeway Webster, Texas 77598.
