He was born in Houston, TX on January 22, 1998, to Angelica A. Bennett & William Bennett.
Andrew was an Industrial Journeyman Electrician, which he worked as for 6 years.
Andrew graduated from Galena Park High School in 2016. He was a member of the Yellow Jackets baseball team for 4 years. Playing his favorite position, “The Outfield”.
At the age of 15, Andrew was diagnosed with a rare heart condition known as Anomalous Aortic Origin of a Coronary Artery (AAOCA), where one of the heart’s arteries arises from the wrong place, potentially restricting blood flow to the heart. In 2013, he underwent successful surgery to correct this abnormality, a procedure that gave him a chance to live a fuller life. He participated in a Registry study where his medical reports were used to help bring awareness to this heart defect and helped save others affected by it. Though with this condition, Andrew remained strong and determined, living with a spirit that inspired everyone around him.
He was the center of attention, as his personality and humor always shined and had his family and friends in roaring laughter.
Andrew was a die-hard Houston Astros fan, where he was able to witness the wins of 4 American League Division Championships and 2 World Series titles. Along with attending the 2024 spring training camp with his Uncle Brian and Aunt Lori. He loved the Dallas Cowboys, was a loyal fan and letting those that were against his team know; “How 'bout them boys”
He enjoyed outdoor activities of, hunting, skiing, deep sea fishing, zip lining, snowboarding, parasailing, river trips/tubing along with continuing the family legacy of playing his favorite sport: BASEBALL.
He was very patriotic and truly loved his country. He was able to exercise his right to vote and protest by throwing up the four fingers at a Houston Harris rally & being peacefully escorted out of the venue before his passing.
Connect 4 Master is what he was known as. He NEVER lost a game. You either had to be brave to accept his challenge or really thought you would win a game against him. The game would be over in 4 or 5 moves.
Andrew meant the world to us all. He left an unforgettable mark we will forever and always treasure.
Andrew loved the Lord with all his heart and now can rest in peace and celebrate eternal life with Our Father.
