Angelica (Angie) Alvarado, 96, of Richmond, Texas passed away on December 26, 2021. Angie was born on December 18, 1925 in Pharr, Texas to Pedro and Hermelinda Gonzalez. She was married to Miguel G. Alvarado, Sr. for 65 years before his passing in 2010. They moved to Houston and raised their 3 boys, Skip, Roy, and Gregg. Angie enjoyed crocheting, knitting and was a former member of Redemption Church (Southway Community Church).

She loved her family and friends and enjoyed traveling and dancing and playing Bingo at the Senior Center in Pearland with Mike.

She was preceded in death by her parents Pedro and Hermelinda Gonzalez; 3 brothers and 3 sisters.

Angie is survived by her sons Skip Alvarado (Frances), Roy Alvarado (Deborah), and Gregg Alvarado (Barbara); 7 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild; sister Emma Garza and numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Alzheimer’s Association in her name, Angie Alvarado. And fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared below for the Alvarado family.
