

Maxie was preceded in death by his wife Faye, father Henry, mother Ellen, two brothers, David and Marion, five (5) sisters Nathalie, Ester, Elma, Hallie Mae, and Mary Lou. Maxie Flowers leaves behind five (5) children; Regina Lucas and her husband Don, Lorraine Baughman and her husband Jeff, Earl Flowers, Delilah Arolfo and her husband Angelo Jr., Renee Harkey and her husband Paul. Ten (10) Grandchildren; Tiffani Haag, Jeffrey Baughman, Bryant Lucas, Marci Lucas, Andrea Martin, Audrey Flowers, Susan Cordts, Falon Szanyi, Heather Harkey, Clayton Harkey, Fourteen (14) great grandchildren.
He served his country proudly in the Coast Guard and also served in World War II before retiring from the United States Air Force. Maxie continued his career in the private sector with Western Geophysical, a division of Litton Industries.
Maxie loved his family, friends, and volunteer work. His faith in God gave him much joy and peace. He will be in our hearts and memories forever.
The Family will be receiving friends and family from 9:00 a.m. until service beginning at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, July 5, 2013, at Forest Park East, 21620 Gulf Fwy, Webster, TX 77598. Interment to follow. For futher information please visit www.forestparkeast-fhc.com
