Born Betty Loraine Fisher, Daughter of Claude and Rita Fisher of Clarksburg, W. Virginia.
Betty married her husband Joe, in her early twenties and followed him to Houston, where his work with NASA brought them to the Clear Lake Area.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe and Daughter Debra Lynn Dodson, and sister, Wanda Long of Clarksburg, W. Virginia.
She is survived by sister, Mary Jo Goldsmith (John), Martinsburg W. Virginia. Her sons, Claude (Denise) and John (Angel). Also survived by Grandchildren, Greg (Aleshia), Lori (Scottie) and Jessica and her Great Grandchildren, Chelsi (David), Hunter, Hannah and Riley.
Betty is also survived by several nieces and nephews. She was honored to have made many friends throughout the years as an active participant in the Texas Elks Lodge BPOE 2322, Kemah, TX.
