Betty Ann Baker Reeves

Betty Ann Reeves, 78, of League City, Texas passed away August 12, 2010 at her home with her children and friends at her side as she would have wanted. She was born in Keokuk, Iowa to Jesse Virgil Baker and Laura Marie Shotwell on September 9, 1931. She was preceded in death by her parents; and husband Louis (Jr.) Reeves and brothers James Baker, Bill Shotwell, Bernard Baker and sister Roberta Harris.

Mrs. Reeves is survived by her brother Glenn Baker and wife Evelyn and half sister Laura Waddle; children Royce Casey and wife Vena, Joyce Harrison and husband Ralph and Carolyn Hibbard and husband Philip and stepdaughter Carol Wilson. She leaves her beautiful grandchildren, Michell Killian-Harmon, Karen Johnson and husband, Justin, Kevin Casey and wife Crystal, Jeffrey Harrison, Kasey Harrison, Monty Mason and wife Gloria.

Betty is also survived by nephews, Bobby Reid and Randall Reeves whom she was very close. She was a loving great grandmother to Ashley, Tabor, Matthew, Luke, Jordan, Kyler, Hannah and Wyatt.

Betty was a wonderful mother and grandmother who was known for pies and cakes. She worked for the League City Police Department and retired as court clerk to the Justice of the Peace.

Betty was a proud member of the Lighthouse Fellowship Church. Funeral services will be held there Sunday, August 15th at 2:30 PM. Officiating will be Jim Barclift and John Pierce.

Visitation with family will be held at Forest Park East Funeral Home, Aug 14th from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
