Callie was born on Nov. 4, 1940 to Burrell Cook Dulaney and Vira Mossett Stout in Pasadena, TX. After Callie attended Milby High School in 1954, she had many adventures traveling abroad to Japan and Germany.
She went on study Radiation, Xray, and MRI technology at San Jacinto College. After graduating with a degree in Computed Tomography, she worked as a CT Tech in radiography at Southeast Memorial Hospital for over 28 years.
In 1993, Callie met husband Nick Hutsell at Dave Hutsell's (Nick's brother's) house in Pasadena, TX. Callie and Nick went on to spend 30 happy years together filled with family, dancing, travel, much love and many laughs.
In 2003, Callie retired and spent her time being a loving grandmother, cat owner, and excellent friend. Callie also spent many years mentoring impoverished, indigent women. She possessed a special ability and sacrificed her own time, energy and resources helping these women transform into productive, educated and self-supporting individuals.
Callie was preceded in death by her daughter Merry Walker better known as Stormy, son Sean Bell, grandson Nick Bell, sister Martha Cook, brother Jim Robertson and mother Vira Stout. Callie is survived by husband Nick Hutsell, son Dean Bell - wife Ling , son Kelly Bell - wife Nita, daughter Jenny Lehmann - husband Fabian, sister Drenda Lugent - husband Lanis, sister in law Judy, daughter in law Heather, and grandchildren: Casey Smith, CJ Brown, Nathan Bell, David Bell, Janice Calhoun, Tara Stafford, Wen Li Peng, Luka Sean Koenigsdorfer, June Skye Lehmann. She is also survived by 15 great grandchildren. Finally, Callie is survived by a host of friends and fellowship which grew up about her - this is an experience she did not miss.
Services will be held at 1611 1st St Galena Park TX, 77547 on June 8, 2024 at 4pm. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made at Hives for Heroes, a cause for which Callie was very passionate.
