Carlton Earl Wheeler, age 86, of Houston, Texas passed away on Wednesday, January 15, 2025. He was born in La Porte, Texas on July 19, 1938, to Walter Wheeler and Alma Knighton. He was married to Janice Wheeler for 58 years.
Carlton Earl Wheeler had a career in music, welding, and as a minister. He was lead guitarist for Mickey Gilley for 12 years. He was a member of the United States Navy for four years and had a passion for music and the church.
He was preceded in death by his parents Walter Wheeler and Alma Knighton.
He is survived by his wife Janice Wheeler.
