Celestino Silva Flores Sr., 74, passed away June 17, 2013 in Houston, Texas. He was born January 15, 1939 in Camargo, Temaulipas, Mexico to Guadalupe Lopez Flores and Alejandra Silva Flores. He served in the United States Navy. Celestino was retired from the automotive industry where he worked as a metal technician. He had a passion for cars and was a member of the Moose Lodge and active in the Pasadena Rodeo and Houston Rodeo Associations.
Celestino was preceded in death by his wife, Diana G. Flores. He is survived by three sons, Clestino S. Flores Jr., Phillip Flores and wife, Yolanda L.Flores and Greg Flores and wife, Tara Flores; eight grandchildren, many other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 25, 2013 with a Rosary recited at 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel at Forest Park East Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, June 26, 2013 at the Queen of Peace Catholic Church, 2320 Oakcliff Street, Houston, Texas 77023. Rite of Committal will follow at Forest Park East Cemetery.
