It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Charles Hoffman, beloved husband, father, stepfather, brother, and lifelong friend, who left us on March 11, 2026. Born in Hennepin County, Missouri, over a jar of Texas dirt on August 30, 1969, Charles was a man of many qualities, with a love for his family, a great sense of humor, and a deep loyalty to those he cared about.
Charles was preceded in death by his father, Lloyd, his mother, Tommie, and his daughter, Corinna, whose memory he carried with him always. He leaves behind his wife of almost 6 years, Amy, his brother Thomas, and sister-in-law Christine, along with their children Oakland and Bryn, who he cherished deeply. Charles had a special bond with his brother-in-law Thomas and sister-in-law Arin, whose relationships were among his most treasured.
Charles was a devoted father to Corinna. Their bond was strong, and he always carried her memory with him. He cherished his role as a stepfather to Wesley (wife Morgan), Caitlyn (husband Brandon), and Madelyn. He was a steady presence in their lives, offering support, humor, and the kind of care that only he could provide. He always looked forward to the time he could be a grandfather.
A lifelong friend to many, Charles was known for his straightforward and no-nonsense approach to life. He was the kind of friend who was always up for an adventure, whether it was a fishing trip or checking out a new restaurant. Charles never took life too seriously and always found a way to enjoy the moment, bringing others along for the ride. He was always up for a friendly wager in a football game.
Charles had a special love for fishing, and some of his best memories were made by the water with his nephews or his uncle. Whether it was a quiet afternoon on the lake or the edge of the ocean, those fishing trips were some of his happiest times.
Charles most special bond was with his loyal companion, Awesomesauce, whose companionship brought him comfort and joy. Together, they shared many memorable moments, and the bond they had was truly one of a kind.
He will be missed by all who knew him, but his memory will live on in the laughter, stories, and moments shared by those whose lives he touched.
