Charles Ronald Johnson, age 83, of Manvel, Texas passed away on Monday, November 6, 2023. He was born in Houston, Texas on July 1. 1940 to Charles E. and Marie Johnson. He was married to Marie Ellerbe for 24 years.
He had a career as a butcher and had a passion for hunting and fishing with dear friends and many adventures with his son Ronnie and wife Marie. The wonderful memories spent outdoors will be treasured by all who loved him.
Charles was preceded in death by his father Charles E. Johnson and his Mother Marie Scarborough.
He is survived by his wife, Mari Ellerbe; son Ronnie Johnson; step daughter Kanet Meadors and husband John, Terry Hester and husband Mike and several grandkids and great-grandkids.
A visitation for Charles will be held Thursday, November 9, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Forest Park East Funeral Home, 21620 Gulf Fwy, Webster, TX 77598, followed by a graveside service from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM.
