Chase Benton Fowler

Chase Benton Fowler, 21, of Spring, Texas, passed away November 19, 2017. He was born in Webster, Texas on March 8, 1996 to Gregory Fowler and Kristen Poteet. Chase was a hard worker working various jobs including construction, working on cars, and moving furniture. He was a member of the Bay Area Car Club. He had a passion for cars, going for drives, barbequing, cooking spicy food, eating sushi, fishing, helping others, playing video games, making people laugh, spending quality time with friends and family and listening to all genres of music.

He was preceded in death by grandpa, Marvin Dean Poteet; uncle, Douglas Niederhofer “Uncle Doug”;

He is survived by mom, Kristy Laurel; stepdad, Mark Laurel; dad, Greg Fowler; stepmom, Christie Fowler; grandparents James Fowler “PaPa,” Jackie Fowler “Ya Ya,” and Linda Poteet “Grandma;” step grandparents, Michael and Denise Reiter; sisters, Camrhen Sampson, Caylie Sampson and Berkley Fowler; aunt, Nicky Anderson and husband Jeff; uncles, Dean Poteet and wife Nicole, Brett Poteet and wife Monica, Jeff Fowler and wife Jacqueline; cousins, Madisen Andersen, Aidan Poteet, Adrianna Poteet, Genevieve Fowler and Josephine Fowler; girlfriend, Becca Newsom; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins; and beloved cats, Tom Cat and Bugatti.

Family will receive friends on Friday, November 24, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the chapel of Grand View Funeral Home, 8501 Spencer Hwy, Pasadena, TX 77505. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, November 25, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel of Grand View Funeral Home, under the direction of Forest Park East Funeral Home. Interment to follow at Forest Park East Cemetery in Webster, Texas.
