Christopher David “Bubba” Romeo, was 37, of Webster, TX. He took his last ride on June 10th, 2023, leaving more questions than answers. He was met at the gates by his loving mother Donna Romeo who greeted him with open arms.
Chris was genuine with a heart of gold, he was loved by many and left an impact on so many people throughout his life. He had such a passion for motorcycles, it was easy to assume racing was his purpose. He grew up in Bellaire, Tx and made his way to Webster, TX after marrying his beloved wife, Marissa Romeo. They adored each other and together built a beautiful home with their two amazing kids, Mia and Maverick Romeo. Being a father and the passion for his family, would clearly show, this was his true purpose.
He is leaving his legacy in the hands of his small, but mighty children, Mia and Maverick Romeo, whom he cherished. Chris spoke about them with so much joy to anyone, anywhere. He matured to be a better father than a rider, and he was an excellent rider. His relentless passion for motorcycles came from his own father, Salvador Romeo, who not only showed him how to work on motorcycles, but how to take his time and do it with prestige. Together they spent endless hours with wrench in hands working on all kinds of motorcycles. It was inevitable that Chris would eventually fall in love with racing. Chris was determined to not just race, but be the best, so he worked hard. He was able to develop a technique to maneuver through the corners, almost as an artform, allowing him to pull forward and win races. Chris was the baby of the family, and deeply loved by his three sisters, Deena, Debbie, and Patty. They not only protected him but made sure he grew up to be the amazing gentleman he was. Chris knew he could count on any one of his sisters, for anything he needed any time of the day. Although Chris only had sisters, at a very young age God granted him a friend he considered a brother, Josue Manzano. The bond they had was unbreakable, and throughout his entire life, he was protected and cared for by Josue. The Batman and Robin of the motorcycle world that regardless of the challenges life brought, they would get through it together.
Although Chris’s departure leaves everyone with heartbreak, his legacy will live on not just through his family, but in the memories he left in the hearts of everyone. He was a great man, a great father, a great husband…a great person who will be missed deeply.
