At a young age, Clarence developed a love of flying. He earned his pilot's license and flew his Taylor craft for many years. He was a member and officer of the Experimental Aircraft Association. He built and flew two planes of his own design, a gyrocropter and a P51 Mustang which will be donated to a museum. He also owned and flew an ultra light sports plane, and a Piper Cub. He had nearly completed a P51 at the time of his death.
Clarence enjoyed playing guitar, singing, and karaoke at the Cowboy Ranch in Pasadena and at the local VFW. Most days he could be found on the golf course. He loved the game and had two holes-in-one. In addition to flying and golf,Clarence loved motor scooters. He bought himself two vintage Cushmans just like the one he wanted as a teenager. His prize possessions were his three Mustang scooters. He loved playing softball and coaching. He played pitcher on teams with his son and son-in-laws.
Clarence was beloved by everyone who ever met him. He was an amazing father, a great husband, and a fine Christian. Clarence accepted Jesus Christ into his life in 2013. He later went to Israel with John Hagee's church where he was baptized in the Jordan River. Clarence was a best friend to all walks of life.
