He was preceded in death by his wife, Edith Wise Eads.
He is survived by his children, Kathy Eads of Pasadena and Judy Eads Clark and husband John of Carrollton, Texas; grandchildren, Luke Scallan, Ross Simpson and Kyle Simpson.
Dan worked as a machinist for Amoco Oil for 36 years in Texas City, Texas. He was an ordained Elder and Deacon in the Presbyterian Church USA and member of the LaMarque Presbyterian Church. He was a World War II veteran who served in the Philippines.
A Graveside funeral service will take place on Saturday, January 29, 2011, at Forest Park East Funeral Home and Cemetery, 21620 Gulf Freeway, Webster, Texas.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the First Presbyterian Memorial Fund and The American Heart Association.
