Donald Wright Schopp, age 87, of El Lago, Texas passed away on Wednesday, December 25, 2024. He was born in Jacksonville, Florida on July 25, 1937 to John J. Schopp and Olivette Wright. He was married to Mary Ann Schopp for 40 years.
Don had a career in utility equipment sales for McCabe-Powers Body Company and Teco Incorporated. He was a member of Westpoint Volunteer Fire Department and had a passion for camping, boating, and tennis.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his siblings.
Don is survived by his wife, Mary Ann, his daughter Renee Michel, his son, Donald Schopp Jr. and wife Shelley, his grandchildren, Nicolas Moises Michel "Nico", Ileana Sofia Michel and Samuel Antonio Michel.
