Dorothy L. Cegelski

Dorothy L. Cegelski, 80, was born on December 10, 1931 in Chappell Hill, Texas and died on February 13, 2012. She is preceded in death by her husband, Benedict (Benny) Cegelski, her parents Tom and Theresa Stolarski, brother Tommy Stolarski, and daughter-in-law Donna Cegelski.

She is survived by: her daughter and son-in-law, Cassandra and Raymond Wilkerson, son, Ben Cegelski, son, Greg Cegelski, son and daughter-in-law, Thomas and Julie Cegelski, and son and daughter-in-law John and Cathy Cegelski. Grandchildren: Jonda Cherry and husband Travis, Ryan Wilkerson and wife Valerie, Luke, Claire, and Mark Cegelski, Jeffrey and Rachel Cegelski, Lexie and Chloe Cegelski, and Brit Fisher, Kate, Madelyn, Benjamin, and Cameron Cegelski. Dorothy has three great-grandchildren: Carissa and Caden Cherry, and Owen Wilkerson. Sister Cathy Polasek and husband Billy, and brother Florian Stolarski and many nieces, nephews, sister-in-laws, and lifelong friends.

Dorothy’s family will receive visitors on February 16 from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at St. Augustine Catholic Church 5500 Laurel Creek Houston, TX 77017. Rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm.

Funeral Mass will be held on February 17 at 10:30 am at St. Augustine Catholic Church with graveside service at Forest Park East Cemetery 21620 Gulf Freeway Webster, TX 77598.

Our sweet mother and Nana will be missed greatly, but we take comfort in knowing that she has been released from pain and is dancing the polka in Heaven with her poopsie, Benny.
